I t's that time of the year again Christmas, yay and Coca Cola has yet again come out with a Santa Claus commercial.  This advert taps into the three iconic heritage imagery of the classic 1931 Coca Cola Santa Claus. But this one is still one of my favourites:

National Geographic - Shark's Mouth Door Tiernitos - Spanish Dog Food A funny Nivea cream advert - he definately doesn't know why all the people are starring at him hehee...these type of outdoors adverts are really eye-catching and intriging.

DDB UK and Volkswagen unveil their stunning new commercial 'Last Tango in Compton' to re-establish the award-winning Polo in the minds of consumers. First launched 35 years ago, the Polo has long been known for its reliability, safety and toughness. Although the new model still retains these values, it now also has the looks to match. Or as the end line tells it 'Tough. Beautiful. Polo' The visually arresting ad, shot by award winning director Jonathan Glazer (of Guinness Surfer, Sony Paint and Levis Odyssey) from Academy Films, features a couple performing a sensual, beautiful tango dance to a tough pounding hip-hop track in an extraordinary dance sequence. Tough and beautiful all in one. In an all black industrial set stripped of clutter the attention is focused as the dancers mesmerize in a close embrace, cheek to cheek, chests together, their legs intertwined, in a long beautiful conversation of love and passion. Dear Readers, I am going to inform you of some basic information about the notorious Adobe Acrobat. Firstly it is a program that allows you to view PDF's (Portable Document Format), you can manipulate, create, view, print and manage the files.  PDF's are widely available, are an easy format where it is more difficult to edit files and can be password or JavaScript encripted.  For example, if you have a word document you wish to forward however you do not want the person to have the facility to edit it just view the piece of document.  The writer can format the word document into a PDF.  

It's a difficult time for everyone people and now with the coalition government spending cuts there's more of a worry.  People are stressing over their jobs and graduates are finding it difficult to enter the career ladder.  However, its not impossible so do not dispare.  So you've gotten past applying and are now in the foot of the door for an interview, the best tip is to sell or in this case advertise all your good qualities.  Here are a few pointer tips on advertising yourself: Be positive!  Have a positive attitude and when interviewing be positive about your experiences and education and how they have helped you gained skills. Simle and be friendly - always important as they are trying to see if you would fit within the company. Make your you prepare your answers for the interview.  Practise in front of a mirror. Advertise yourself be knowning your top qualities. Give examples of your top qualities.  Advertise yourself by dressing smartly....

The image on the left provokes me as it psychologically makes smokers think when throwing away their cigarettes in the bin that their lungs could be so congested with nicotin.   This image genuinely triggers the nocition to stop you smoking.   It also cleverly puts a pint of beer next to the cigarettes bin, the conscience sees these to things as bad habits although some people find it pleasurable in their lifes.   As a non-smoker it makes me want to stay even further away from tobacco.   It also makes me feel gloomy for those which do smoke and wish this piece of creative advertising can trigger them to quit smoking.
